As part of the fulfillment of prophecy we have been blessed with 80 dunam (20 acres) of virgin farm land. Someone here said to me that no one has farmed this land since the Nabateans about 2000 years ago.

To succefully farm a piece of land this size today is no small task. We feel that the crops best suited to our climate and soil conditions are Banksia (a type of desert flower), Vines for wine and Olives for oil and consumption.

As a result of severe cuts in our water allowance we have been forced to look at crops that can bring us an income with but a fraction of our original allowance. We have decided on the"Banksia" - a native flower of Australia. This plant is well suited to the desert and Rina and I have years of experience in growing them. When the water situation improves, which we are sure it will, we will continue with the original calling and to plant the vines and the olives.

The Sabbatical year has passed and we have started in earnest tp plant our seeds and prepare 4000 Banksia plants for transplanting in May / June 2009. There are still a few problems like the electricity supply to our agricultural land but we will continue with solar / batteries in the meanwhile. The water supply is completed although not ideal but we have passed the point of no return! With the help of the Holy One Blessed be He, we will prosper.
