A Vineyard always conjures up a very romantic picture. I suppose in many ways it is! But aside from that this is the core of our vision for the desert. It is not only very hard and time consuming work but also takes a lot of money to get started.

Our current estimates are that it would take about $100,000 just to get started. Many of the faithful have started to contribute to making this vision a reality but we are still a long way off being able to start the project. At our previous location the land was not our own but we would have had the use of the farm implements and equipment. Now that we are on our own land we will have to acquire our own equipment. Vines are a long term project. We have been promised financial assistance from the Israeli government but at the moment the coffers are empty and all available funding is going to the defense of the country.

Being people of faith and having seen the Father's provision in our personal circumstances, we continue to trust in Him that He will provide at His appointed time.
